Yes, he states that he's added a DG tone capsule after he bought it. Originally it was passive.
Picking my Z3 up tomorrow after my tech finally finished installing the new 6 way switch and s/p switches... Felt like forever!
And just in time, too, got a rehearsal tomorrow and another Monday before a pretty decent sized gig. Can't wait to hear the new options.

I actually just went the other way and had my original 4 way switch put in.
I was only using NB and MB. Why not have a switch that has them next to each other?

Does anyone know of an online service where I can purchase a finger ramp or thumb rest for my dingwall?

Other than that, just find a luthier who would be willing to "waste their time" on a small project like that.

Not in a malicious way, though. Just the really busy kind of way.
I’ve made a few, with exact dimensions I can custom carve one on my CNC… without having the instrument in hand the dimensions have to be precise so that it fits over/between pickups. My primary bass has a full ramp.

So you have a bridge and a neck pickup and want a ramp in between? If it's a modern Combustion, there should be room under the pickguard for a "center" pickup. If you don't want a 3X configuration, sound wise, a 3rd pickup installed but not wired in would be the simplest solution, maybe the cheapest? But if you're going that far, I'd personally wire it in for 3X lol.
If you have a Z or Afterburner, a ramp makes more sense and would be cheaper.
I didn't find one in the EU unfortunately, even my local Dingwall dealer couldn't get hold of one...
I ordered one from Dingwall on Monday and it's already shipped, so maybe give it another go.
Nah, it's an Afterburner with 2 pickups.
