Dingwall Owners Club

And that website is......?
Ah, it was on Bassic.de for a while but now he's posted it on the European Bass Market facebook page for 2100 including shipping. I can't link the page since the group is private.

I can’t read that but that preamp was added aftermarket. Nice looking older ABZ though.
Yes, he states that he's added a DG tone capsule after he bought it. Originally it was passive.

I've attached a snapshot of the ad for anyone who's interested.

Picking my Z3 up tomorrow after my tech finally finished installing the new 6 way switch and s/p switches... Felt like forever!

And just in time, too, got a rehearsal tomorrow and another Monday before a pretty decent sized gig. Can't wait to hear the new options.
I’m very much looking forward to your take on the 6-way! I have one waiting to be installed on my Z3 as well. :)

Does anyone know of an online service where I can purchase a finger ramp or thumb rest for my dingwall?
I find that I like to pluck between the pickups.
@Barticus Can you help?
Was it you that made the woodden extra for Warwicks? Or did I tag the wrong person?

Other than that, just find a luthier who would be willing to "waste their time" on a small project like that.

I've been bugging my luthier for a while for a finger ramp for my Modulus and he always says he doesn't have time or forgets :)
Not in a malicious way, though. Just the really busy kind of way.

So you have a bridge and a neck pickup and want a ramp in between? If it's a modern Combustion, there should be room under the pickguard for a "center" pickup. If you don't want a 3X configuration, sound wise, a 3rd pickup installed but not wired in would be the simplest solution, maybe the cheapest? But if you're going that far, I'd personally wire it in for 3X lol.

If you have a Z or Afterburner, a ramp makes more sense and would be cheaper.

Nah, it's an Afterburner with 2 pickups.
