Just curious, why not the Strandberg Prog? I've never tried one or even seen one in person, but on paper they look great to me...

(Of course if Dingwall did a headless I probably couldn't resist putting down a deposit)

As mentioned, they seem to really lack the sound department from the internet context I’ve heard.

I had the Ibanez MS6 headless bass and honestly, it wasn’t terrible. It sounded pretty decent with the nordstrand electronics. I didn’t love the feel on it. It was quite junkie compared to a dingwall…. Or even some other Ibanez basses I have played.

The flat fretboard is a non starter for me. It was light and compact but the trade offs were far from comparable to the pros of any dingwall I’ve played or owned.

I’m sure one day someone will make a killer FF headless but nothing has said, “this is it” yet IMO. I’m sure Sheldon’s will be the next evolution of the bass guitar!!

I sorta get where you’re coming from.

That said, Bass Direct had ordered three ABs in pastel shades a couple years ago. Full maple necks with large "Super series" dots, but those were really sweet, as well.

Modern shape/classic color really works for me.

Can’t seem to find anything on this bass. I’ve always had a soft spot for Charvel basses.
