Speaking of Franco's bass, Yes, I would have to agree wholeheartedly!
I should have pics of mine hopefully tomorrow, with the rig that I use.
Hey Jake, things are going one thing at a time right now, not sure yet, but may be moving to Oak Ridge. Nothing solid yet! I will know more after friday.
As to having the Aggie pre in it, I feel that the bass has more depth to it's sound now and the highs sound, mmmm, more complicated (that is the first word that comes to mind in explaining that).

Not even another Dingwall, Mike? I know what you mean, though. My parallel-fretted basses are not getting enough exercise.
I've owned 3 Dingwalls but sold them in anticipation of my SJ5, to come very soon after the NAMM debut. The 32-35" fan is perfect for me. I'll post again after I receive it. Sheldon announced that NAMM will also see a less expensive Afterburner with fewer bells and whistles: no Neutrik jack or recessed tuners, outsourced pups, bridge and controls. No other details posted yet, but it should make the magic more accessible to those who want to try it but were snakebit by the prices.

Just to show what a small world it is...the guy who is starting this club (Froggy) is current owner of the AB1 that I bought from you Morris. I hated selling it, but I might rejoin the club depending on how "affordable" the new affordable Dingwall line will be. If I know Sheldon's work, he won't put his name on anything that isn't top-shelf, regardless of price.

The beautiful thing about these is that we get to play with our Dingies in public, let anyone else do that!
Does that make me #12?? Cause I'm in too. ABII about a year and a half ago, and then I bought a SWEET ABI from LOMO in early November of last year. PS I am selling the ABII, I am very pleased with the ABI and I want to get a Z series in the near future. Great seeing there is a club and thanks FroggyOne2 for inviting me in.

Question. I know dingwalls are great basses I have yet to hear anyone say a single bad word about them but with harmonics are they where they would be on a normally fretted bass or are they in line with the fanned fret markers?
