And if/when/how much the Neve preamp will be made available as an upgrade.
I really would suspect things like custom colors and preamp upgrades to be some core differentiators to getting a Canadian build vs a Ready To Play model.

Is that a newer model with the minimalist bridge? My 4-year old NG3-6 has recessed screws.
Correct, it's the new model with the minimalist bridge. Odd that the screws aren't recessed on mine.
That’s interesting. I was trying to make a correlation with pics from Thomann of new minimalist and the older solo rails and all had non-recessed screws. So it wasn’t super recently but not more than 4 years ago considering mine.
I’m curious when this changed and surprised more people haven’t complained (that I’ve seen) considering how popular it is for Dingwall players to equip these with a drop lever, which I always do to all my basses.

Idk about Dingwall themselves but I’ve seen those singles at fretnation.
I believe Payson sells their thick singles as well (much cheaper too), look in the sets, there’s a dropdown to get a single one.

i ordered two sets of f# 6 from dingwall which means the new set of f# six with a spare f#, and a set of 5. but i have an extra set of 5 so more f# is good. they just dont last long. Awesome when alive however.

I've been hemming and hawing about an SP1, or SJ1 if those become a thing but I'm just... not certain, yet. I have a bonkers amount of Canadian Dingwalls already, and it's a bit of a struggle to keep them all in rotation as-is. There aren't any that I'd sell, either. Perhaps a used one will pop up and it'll happen at a weak moment for me haha.
