I take it this a "spec'ed just like Ivan's" but not an actual SignatureMy order for the Ivan signature bass should arrive by December ,very excited. It was ordered from John Fox Bass. Great company to deal with period.
Is that a newer model with the minimalist bridge? My 4-year old NG3-6 has recessed screws.Question for those using a Hipshot Xtender. I put one (Ultralight 3/8") on my NG3 and noticed the baseplate doesn't sit flush due to the screw for the A-string string tree. What was your solution to this? View attachment 7301997
Correct, it's the new model with the minimalist bridge. Odd that the screws aren't recessed on mine.Is that a newer model with the minimalist bridge? My 4-year old NG3-6 has recessed screws.

That’s interesting. I was trying to make a correlation with pics from Thomann of new minimalist and the older solo rails and all had non-recessed screws. So it wasn’t super recently but not more than 4 years ago considering mine.Correct, it's the new model with the minimalist bridge. Odd that the screws aren't recessed on mine.
Yeah, no “official signature” in the booksI take it this a "spec'ed just like Ivan's" but not an actual Signaturemodel? Although in my book, @IvanBassist deserves one as much as anyone!
P.S. +10 on John Fox Bass being the platinum standard in bass dealers. I need to plan a road trip to his shop if $30K ever falls in my lap.![]()

Idk about Dingwall themselves but I’ve seen those singles at fretnation.does dingwall still sell single f# strings?
i ordered two sets of f# 6 from dingwall which means the new set of f# six with a spare f#, and a set of 5. but i have an extra set of 5 so more f# is good. they just dont last long. Awesome when alive however.I believe they do but I don’t see it on the site. The local shop I just mentioned LeRoux music had some in stock when I was there.
Reach out to Brian if inclined at Music in Calgary. I know he ships and can’t imagine it’s more expensive then anyone else.i ordered two sets of f# 6 from dingwall which means the new set of f# six with a spare f#, and a set of 5. but i have an extra set of 5 so more f# is good. they just dont last long. I have one for sale in the classifieds (if you're in the states) that I got directly from them (I chickened out on filing the nut to get it to fit), so I believe they do (or at least they did).does dingwall still sell single f# strings?
