Dingwall Owners Club

Thanks @aff and @Selta - SW rep was basically quoting January 27 for me. Know they are newly announce.
If you are buying from SW just go for it, you can always return it if you really dislike it, or just straight sell. But I believe it’s hard to dislike it. And SOL seems to be priced quite reasonably in DW prices, even below NG3 somehow.

I myself waiting for custom Effigy to arrive, already have NG3-6 and just bought NG3-5 lol. And will be trimming bass collection soon, guess which brand is NOT getting trimmed.

New ABII 6 has landed!

FD3 pickups, Darkglass pre, fretless, roasted ash neck. I wanted a crazy contrasting body vs top, and I think I ended up with some cool sky vs. earth result.

Thoughts? Haven't had the chance to play it with (it's still at the dealer) but I can't wait to get my hands on this.

Congratulations, that ought to be fantastic! Love the blue signature mirroring the body finish.

Wow! Looks great! Did you manage to get the headstock signature to match the body finish? I don't think I've seen that before.

This is crazy because when tried one of these out at a shop, it felt awkward. I play it at home and it feels great! I don’t think getting used to this bass will be hard at all. The fit and finish is top notch. It is a definite step up from my Sadowsky MX Modern 5. This bass is really well put together. My Brazilian Tagima or a USA Lakland are at this level.

💚:headphone:. I think your Modern and Tagima sound nice. But this Dingwall sounds much nicer to my ears. The clarity up and down the neck is superb.

This JT really makes me want to try a Dingwall made in Saskatoon. The Afterburner, Lee Sklar, or Super J models must be fantastic!

Felt the same way after my Nashville combustion.. went to a ab1, then a super J, the a Z. Worth it! Have a awesome AB1 for sale for almost as cheap as an import if interested....

Same for me. This is how they get you. Gonna yeet a preamp in my SP1 and hope it keeps the GAS at bay.

But yeah, welcome to the club! That Dingwall low B is so sick in church stuff.

I will let you younger guys buy Canadian Dingwalls. This old retired bassist is going to be happy with his JT5.
