Hey all. I finally became a Dingwall owner a few weeks ago and got to take the bass to my favorite gig. I got the clips posted on youtube if you wanna check it out. I got pretty much no face time, but the bass has some cool shots. Not the best sound (dang choir), but there are a couple tracks where you can hear the bass in the mix. The second link probably has the best mix with bass.

I don't use a rig. I just use a DI straight in. We all use in-ears and I have a 10,000 watt dual 18' EAW sub behind me and the drummer that just has kick and bass. That usually does the trick!!!

Dang. I have one of those DI thingy's in my gear bag. Don't tell my wife, I've got her convinced I needed this for great tone.
Man, I love the look of those PJ cabs. I have yet to try anything with more than 2 speakers though. I have to admit (cover your wife's eyes), I have not used/owned a rig in 6 years and completely love it!!!! There is nothing like rolling into a gig with a bass on your back and stand in your hand. Pull the bass out, plug up into the tuner, plug into the DI and GOGOGOGOGOGO!!!!
PS. On the other hand, I really miss having a rig. At least something small to thump around on. But I live in a tiny 1 bedroom apt. with my wife and two dogs so there is no room for an amp.....yet!!!!
