Thanks mexibass, your input is appreciated and I was actually thinking of a Super P5 on my way home from practice tonight.

I continue to enjoy playing the ABI with the band and am amazed by the light weight and lack of neck dive. Another question, are these necks assymetrical? It feels it to me.

Oh yeah! I contend that it is unfair to all the rest to even try to compare them to a Dingwall. Kind of like comparing and contrasting a go-cart to a Ferrari.

So true. Although I must say, I really like my Mike Lull jazz. It is a wonderful instrument for a traditional fender style jazz. But a Dingwall it is not.
