Now that's what I call a stack! I'm seriously considering adding one more ML115 to have a 4 ohm rig of doom. I can pretty much punch our two guitards in the nuts with a single at 8 ohms, but two at 4 ohms and I'm pretty sure they will kneel before me and beg for their lives! LOL!

There have been a number of smaller outdoor festivals and shows where house sound has mentioned that they've just brought up the rest of the PA around me rather than needing to put me in the front end. ;) They've also commented that the rig sounds as good, clean and coherent out front as anything they could do with their subs/stacks.

We did a club show a couple months ago and the opener used my rig...their soundman commented that he had muted the bass channel at the board and it was only 3 songs in that he noticed that he'd forgotten to unmute it. :laugh:

Awesome. Next time you're in Roch, please let me know, I'll try to come out from the Southtowns of Buffalo. Or even better, come to the Nickel City!!

Nice! I will do. Rochester has been hit or miss with us, and not sure the Dino thing will be a regular (for other unrelated reasons)...but we're probably looking at Flour City Station and Lovin' Cup for next year. We did Buffalo a few times this summer...Buffalo Iron Works and Allen St. Hardware.

You pretty much hit the sense of my question on the nail. It's pretty much pick and chose now when ordering a custom build, I had the feeling picking a model instead of another was now pretty much a choice of body size/style pickup placement and neck. Aside from that you can pretty much get what you want on each model, some just have more stuff .. included!

We move like the wind. ;)

We did BIW with Corey Henry (Snarky Puppy) and After Funk...and the ASH was an oddball gig with some hiphop performers. Showed up to find a mini-Behringer board with 4 inputs and their front end was the same K12's we use for monitors. :/ Luckily I brought most of our own PA gear!

My take on it is...
I think the Combustion line changed the dynamic. Before, the AB's were kept at a lower price point by limiting your options to having a top or not and picking a color. Once the C's came out, it opened the Afterburners to become more of a platform for options by taking some of the pressure off the shop to get AB's out the door in such quantity.

I'm not the expert but as I understand it, here's what you have:

FD3 - Generic name of the Fury Dingwall series 3 line of pickups
FD3-4L - FD3 pickup with series and parallel (4-lead - now standard)
FD3-a - Alnico magnet version of the FD3
FD3-n - Neodymium version of the FD3
Mach II - Hotter version of the FD3 meant for the bridge

That's what I've been able to gather anyway. Anyone with better information can correct me, though.

Yes. It's a mathematical symbol that represents the various orders (cardinalities) of infinity. The real numbers, for example (negative infinity to positive infinity) are known as Aleph-Null. It is the smallest order of infinity.
