Cool! It should be a good bit bigger than last year. I will have 3 booths full of 10 different bass amplification systems and a showcase Dingwall ABHS and hopefully several NG2s and a Combustion or 2. I can just see the expressions of the fellow's faces when they see the fanned fret design for the first time and ask, "Why are the frets like that in this bass?"
That bass is an exact match to my NG-2. No question it is a killer bass and won't last long.

Wish I had time to drive up for it! Would love to take a road trip up there. I miss the Pacific Northwest as at one time I lived there and worked as an acoustical engineer for Boeing in Everett, Washington.

Don't know yet. This new design is supposed to be lighter than the previous ABHS. Sheldon had guesstimated 9 before it was built. But you know those Darkglass Tone Capsules do weigh in heavily.
Maybe you have to give her the extra special treatment!!
If my wife buys it for my birthday present I will be an elated consumer. Unfortunately so far she just shakes her head. It is real difficult being a high-end bass-gear aficionado and a dealer at the same time. Books don't balance too well when the CEO wants to keep everything for himself.Jeez, are you a dealer or a consumer?
