I noticed that as well, which is why I took the photo of it specifically. My guess is that it's the logo they use on blacked out headstocks? Either way, I think it's an awesome little touch. I didn't take a photo, but the electronics cavity cover logo/signature is also engraved now, instead of just painted (my older two AB1 have painted cavity covers).
I just got done running through recording a simple scale in pretty much every setting. I'll be posting them to soundcloud in a bit.
Here they are. It's super simple and as far as playing goes, very one dimensional. I hope this helps someone down the line - I know I was having a hard time deciding if 3x would be worth it and wanted to hear more of the possible tonal landscape afforded by 3x pickups, 3x toggles and the Glockenklang pre. If I do end up with another Dingwall, it may have the Darkglass pre, which means I could do a bit more direct A/B of Glock vs DG for folks... but that's many months out at best. Anyway, here you go:

When all three pickups are on are they all in series? Or is bridge and middle in series and neck parallel?
Bridge and Middle are in Parallel with each other, and the pair are in Series with the Neck.
Forgot to mention, this Afterburner has the "D-bird" 4 position rotary, which is different than the standard 4 position rotary. Different pickup options available.
It is a push/pull volume pot.
Thanks Jeff, I actually did read through that thread but I couldn't understand exactly where the cleaner was being sprayed. I ended up spraying a bit in those tiny horizontal spaces right under the shaft, and right above that first circuit board. That seemed to make a difference. It's only a bit crackly at the end of its rotation. Some how the set screw for the volume knob stripped and I can't functionally use it. I switched with a different knob I don't use much.

Did you say these were FD3s or FDVs?
I might just live with it a while. There's a lot of small solder joints going on from that little pot that I don't feel like messing with at the moment. I usually have my volume full on, so it's no big deal really. I was just experimenting with the dual series setting with the volume turned way down. Sounds really nice!! I found that setting a bit hot for my tastes, but turning the volume down to about half really smoothes it out. Gives a nice defined growly sound without taking your head off
