Do this NOW... No kidding.... $750 Warwick

Ya, I saw the same thing. Maybe you could've talked em down?

I wonder how much this is going to effect the resale of all Warwicks?

The resale value for Warwicks has been really low for some time now.Ebay has some absolute bargains. The cheapest I've seen is Italian ebay. You can get a Thumb NT for 1000 euros & sometimes even less.
These bargains from GC are just that, bargains from GC,which wont last for too much longer. There's rumours of GC dropping Warwick completely which may well be the reason they're selling them off so cheaply.
Warwick have also changed distributors from Dana B Goods to Hanser music, but that isnt going to affect the prices other than one or two dealers, like Rocket Music.
I cant see the price of used Warwicks changing anytime soon.

Man-this is KILLING me!
If I'd a known this deal was coming, I would've held off on getting the T-40 that I landed just before Christmas for $300.
I mean, the T-40's great and all, but if I had that $$ back I could've done it at $750 (assuming either of the GC's in my area are cutting the same deal)

I had a thumb that was the baseball size neck (05) but i have an old (95) Fortress Masterman I with Wenge neck that is much slimmer. I have big hands so both are OK but the older one is much slimmer. Feels great and Wenge neck sounds great too.

I just purchased a Warwick Corvette $$ in nirvana black for $750!!!! BRAND NEW!!!!

Guitar Center is "n-coding" these, which apparently means they are closing them out. My sales guy (I am kind of a novice gear freak), called to let me know, I went down yesterday and picked it up.

If you want to save $1200 and you dig Warwick, please don't wait, and GET ONE NOW!!!

You can't buy one used for this price! If you get one post a follow up! If your local guitar center turns you down - the store I bought mine from has one or two more (Kirkland, WA).
Just don't tell them I posted this online, they DO work on commission ;)

Good luck!

I just went to my local guitar center, and they wouldn't match this price. They said that the only way a GC would go below the $999 price would be because the bass had something wrong with it. I know that isn't the case, since you said it was brand new, but not much I can do at this point.

Still trying to decide, but I think I will shoot for one anyway (they have a 4-string $$ in natural finish, and a 5-string $$ in the black finish).... with the 10% off, at least that comes down to $900. Not $750, but still not bad at all.

I just picked one up yesterday for $520 :)

How did you get it so low? Any hints? My Guitar Center absolutely wouldn't go below the $999 price (although I assume they'll at least let me use the 10% off clearance coupon to get it to $900). When I told them about the $750 price they insisted that was impossible, and that even $750 was below their cost, so $520 seems more amazing still.
