Do ya wear it high, or sling it low...?

I have bad posture (and a heavy bass) and find that playing it that high helps me be conscious of how I hold my back and have better form when I'm playing. Before I was smart (about ten years ago) I played really low and my back would hurt by the end of the gig. Then I wised up, and got a little inspiration from Timmy C. of RATM

I thought it was bad for your wrist to hang it high? At least at like chest height. I used to wear mine pretty high, but I got that tidbit and figured I'd try to play it lower. Also my new SPector won't allow me to have it at the same height because of the strap lock position.

i remember a review of a live band in BAM magazine
(sf area, now defunct) - said something like

... I was going to stay to see the next band, but i
saw the bassist had his bass up real high like a musician,
so i left."

always thought that was funny as hell.

for the record tho, i have it so its in the same position
sitting or standing, which is on the higher side.
