Exactly. Even though they’re more susceptible to temp changes etc., they’re musical instruments that should be played. I’ve found when stored in cases, they just don’t get played as frequently as when on stands or wall hangers.

case, seen so many stands get knocked over. my guitar player recently with his 3k martin. told him to put it away, he says have a stand. same night, someone trips a cable, guitar falls over. cases all dayJust wondering whats better for my bass. Excellent!!!!!!!Stages are chaotic...People can be lumbering dolts...people who don't belong on stage (family members, friends of bands members, etc) somehow manage to get on stage.
As a result, 99% of the time my basses go in the case during set breaks..even my iPad gets removed from the stand it's on and put away.
Stuff is expensive.
When the kids were little, they were in a case.
