It makes me downright happy. I'll be out of highschool in a month and a half! College in less than 5!!!!

Same here. The excitement is overwhelming at times.
As for me - yep it does. Life is so short, and there are other thigns to get done except playing...
Definitely does for me.

Wait until you're in your 40's, like me.
Not for a moment. Age is a number, nothing more. We begin our living/dying process at the same time. If you live to be 20, you're old at 18. Life is a gift, enjoy the moment!!

When you hit your 40's, for some it's like a nasty Gong going off.
i'm almost 29 and look 19 so that's cool, but i defintely do'nt have as much energy so that's a bit sadening.

When I was in my 20's, I figured when I was in my 40's it would feel *almost the same.* Umm, not so much.
Of course, I have myself to blame for alot of it - I'm in bad shape.
no, the agin part doesnt. what does make me sad is all the things i didnt do. i was always fat. i didnt swim. there were no spring break road trips.high school dances and proms i didnt attend. i never had a girlfriend. cars and music was my outlet. while everyone was out with their girlfriends i was wrenchin on my car or my friends cars. i have built racecars from the ground up on a professional level but i have never built a car for me. now my body aches from years of work. i feel as though life has past me by.
turning 60 on may 2nd. My wife is taking to Lithuania for my first visit and planning to visit the cities that my parents are from. i just started playing again 2 1/2 years ago and my approach is much more disciplined. I am having a great time a planning my retirement where I plan to start gigging again like I did in the 70's. There is a upright bassist by the name of Joe Byrd (Charlie Byrd's brother) in Annapolis. He plays a few times a week and believe that he is 72. He is just having a grand time!!!!

There's advantages to every age. I think the trick is to get a focus on the advantage and make the most of it.
For me.... I'm old enough to see an interesting perspective on news and world events, I'm older than my boss and I'm free from the worry of dying young.
When I was younger I used to think, "F*** em if they don't want to listen to me because I have a new and clear vision.
