Does anybody in here play punk?

Forget the theatrics and the ludwig von crappy endless symphonic bore, does anybody up in here just jump on the stage and just play bare bones, stripped down loud straight foward rock?

Does anybody just plug in, turn everything up and kick @$$ anymore? Who in here play punk? Anybody get up on stage at midnite, paly fifteen songs and is home asleep bloddy and bruised but proud by 3AM?

How many people in here have two minute songs with three sentences? Where are the punk rockers?

Punk music would be where I got my start as a young lad. However what I play now days would be considered more in the classic rock category to some folk. As an aged punk/ hardcore musician and fan, I still prefer the stripped down/ raw element in any music I play or listen to as opposed to the over-produced top 100 crap that rules the air waves. I have allways thought that Punk rock is a state of mind, not a style of dress or uniform character. So yea, there are a few of us out there.

I'm a post-punker... we're the dudes who sucked out all of the fun.

Sorry about that!
That's hilarious.:D

I grew up on punk (born in '63), have played a ton of it in the past and still love it. (Opening for Minor Threat was an experience, to say the least.) I don't know if playing straight-up punk is for me anymore, but it influences just about any of the music I like to play.
