Does anyone care about strap color?

As we all know, the look of the strap matters more than the look of the bass. Of course, I'm saying that way for effect. But here's my point. We all have different basses, with different looks (various top woods with no paint, painted, whatever). The bass looks the way it looks. Put the WRONG, VERY WRONG strap with it, and your bass falls into the black hole of "horrid", right along with the strap. But the right look of the right strap - is just "right".

It's kind of like a shirt and tie. The tie is actually more important, if you see what I mean. (no pun intended). :)

Don't think much about color, but a lot about material. I have one made of merino wool that was advertised as "the world's most comfortable guitar strap." Bought it almost as a joke, but it's still around...

Mostly black. My blackburst Godin has a black tooled leather Godin strap, my tobacoburst Gretsch has a black tooled leather Levys strap, my trans crimson Schecter has a plain black velvet Levys, but for the silver Jag, went a bit different...

I have black leather Franklin straps. One has red stitching that matches my red Westone bass. I'm guessing I'm the only person who's ever noticed that detail, but so what. Little details on guitr straps are like underwear. Nobody sees them other than you, but they still matter for some reason.

I have a blue suede strap for my midnight blue Rickenbacker. Please don't step on it.

I've got a bunch of different colored straps (orange, maroon, red, navy, olive green, silver, etc) and I switch them around on my basses somewhat often. Black and tan/natural straps are fine, but I personally get a little bored with them. I prefer colored straps. Other people have complimented me on the colors as well.
I use Couch straps, the seatbelt ones.

I recently gave in and bought a Joe Satriani skeleton strap in red to march my red highway 1 jazz bass, after being gifted a black one for my black highway 1 j bass.

Other than that i've always used your generic black two inch nylon strap with leather tabs. I got them complementary for a long time from my favorite music store. They had the store name and phone number on the front tab so i guess i was being pimped by the store, but hey, they were really good to me, hardly beat me at all.

Yup, I care about strap colour. I like to match the pick guard colour to reinforce the accent colour I guess or match the body for the "stealthy strap look, lol". But black is good with almost any guitar. My black P bass with black pick guard got a black strap. My blue strat with white guard looks really sharp with a white leather strap. And my natural acoustic guitar has brown leather.
