Does anyone care about strap color?

Straps matter. The skull gives me tons of cred without even playing a note.

I made a couple of leather straps for myself, but I was dissatisfied with them and gave them away, leaving me with one plain black strap. I am typically not into "plain" anything, so I went ahead and bought that pearl seafoam green fringe strap that was in the classifieds for months. It looks amazing on my white/tort Precision. Now I plan to devote at least 10% of my GAS to strap-acquisition for the rest of my life. I view it as being similar to my tie collection. It's an avenue for being classy and subversive at the same time

black or black with either of my black basses. black or black with my sunburst basses. black or black with my 'walnut' bass. FWIW: most of my gigs are 'dress up' gigs (black tuxedo maybe, black suits usually. one band: black shirt and pants, but lots of black clothing).

so a black strap is easy/appropriate for my stuff: and since all of my instruments have the same schaller strap lock buttons installed, i only need one strap for all of them --- the black one!
