Rounds for me for sure. I got a few sets of flats to try to see what they were all about but I just spent all my time wishing they played and sounded as good as rounds.

Flats are enjoying a resurgence in popularity, and they do last forever.
BTW, I use flats on my P, RotoSound 66 Stainless rounds on my PJ and J.
Maybe all the posts about flats has to do with the difficulty of getting a decent tone out of them.

they sound like **** right out of the package, and continue to sound like **** in perpetuity.
Another fad, like tattoos, body piercing, and instrument relic'ing, that will go away soon...

I don't like round wounds. They are too noisy for me.
