Does it offend you when?

Ehh, not really, but then again I don't really play basses anyone would think of as 'ugly' I guess. I will say that when I owned a Warwick Corvette, most everyone (including some bandmates) said the upper horn looked like an erect male body part. I sold it not long after.... mainly because it was way too heavy for my taste, but I didn't really like the thought of people thinking of my bass in that way. haha!

Nope. I only get annoyed by two statements ever.

1.Every bass player should own a Fender.

2. Every bass player should have at least one 4 string.


Anything else is water under the bridge for me.

I like to keep my instruments as ugly and crappy looking as possible thereby decreasing the chances of getting them stolen, and making peoples jaws drop even more when I play them ugly things better then they do. Damn kids, think you can't get a good sound out of a Sunn Mustang.....

I'd agree, +1.
That's why I won't tell my friends when I buy naother Electra or Peavey.
They say Peavey's suck because they're only an amp company.
Funny thing is my Peavey is a USA made T-series and they play Indonesian Ibanezes and Korean B.C Riches. And not the respectable ones either.

I could care less, but when you insult the quality, etc. becuase you're an idiot, that offends me.
