Don't Wear Shorts

I don't care if you are playing your aunt Bessy's backyard birthday party. If you are this guy you suck the cool right out of being a musician.

If you go that extra step and wear either the Hawaiian camouflage shirt, or your stupid Crate or Charvelle or Fender black T-shirt from 1991 you actually create a cool black hole. All the cool in the universe will flow through you and into oblivion forever.
Nice.....lmfao!

Played with these two guys a while ago. The guitard was an older guy with some weird vein thing happening on his legs and the drummer had ghost white legs that looked like they were transplanted off a chicken. They both always wore shorts. I tried to be diplomatic and went the whole "professional" route with them but they still wore shorts. Finally i lost my cool at a bar we were playing and told them although i felt really sorry for their girlfriends (who chose to get upfront and personal with their appendages) our audiences should not be forced to.
Some people should never wear shorts in public much less on stage.

I don't know what's worse; my mullet and Oakleys or the fact we were ALL wearing shorts...(ahh the hubris of youth!)

Most all of the pictures/videos that have been posted as evidence that it's OK to wear shorts on stage have only proven to me that you definitely shouldn't wear shorts on stage.

Oh yeah only thing I would change is "ALL" not "most all"!!

And people, please stop posting that one of lemmy in the daisy dukes, even he hates that pic!!!

I wonder what sort of gigs the 'no shorts' team are doing? If you are doing more formal things, weddings, coffee shops, etc, then fair enough - don't wear shorts. If it's anything less formal then go wild!
