Doomy/wall of fuzz - fuzz

Yeah I've heard about that but the only demo's I've seen have sounded harsh on the high end and a bit fizzy

Are they the Mr.Ex demos? I see those on the website, and that dude has a very personal stylized tone (which others have commented on) that makes me go limp for every pedal he touches. I've never heard one of his demos that didn't sound harsh in the highs. His rig and style aren't my thing, so it might be worth considering the demos are not representative. That said, I've never played one of these boxes. I just started looking at them from reading this thread. YMMV

Yeah I find most of his Demo's sound the same to me and every fuzz sounds harsh, I've done some more research and like the sound of the megalith just considering the eau Claire and fuzz war too but can't make a decision haha
EDIT: Been looking deeper and now deciding between the pale mare, eau Claire and fuzz war me thinks...

I'm a huge fan of the earthbound audio centurion. It is less compressed and less smooth than a muff. More aggressive and ripping.
