Yes, but they can call the carrier and have the shipments returned any time before delivery. I had to do it once with a ebay sale. The guy called me and gave me a CC, I keyed it in and it went through, I shipped his stuff. Two days later I get a call from my merchant service saying the card was bad. I called UPS and stopped the shipment. It was on the truck 10 min from being dropped off. When the driver scans the package at delivery it will tell him if there is a return on it.

They use JJs, not Danelectros. [URL="http://www.jerryjonesguitars.com/JJO_LHbass4.htm"]JJs look like Danelectros[/URL], but aren't pieces of crap and cost nearly four times as much. ;)

The biggest problem with the Longhorn is its structural weakness -- the incredibly flimsy bridge mount, the guitar machines, etc., so much so that it requires super-ultralight strings, like a .078" E, so you're stuck using $45 special LaBella Longhorn reissues. :(

[Amusingly, I read that someone was claiming to be using 9050Ms [!] on a Longhorn, which I'm pretty sure is a physical impossibility on a stock unit. No, I'm positive it's an impossibility. Think about it...but if he did, I'm pretty sure the thing would explode at some point.]

I dont know about the Longhorns, But I have used Roto 77's & 88's for two years on my '63 with NO problems.

No offense, but you and I are living in alternate universes apparently. Sure JJ's are preferred to Danos, but believe me Danos are used plenty. And I've used a wide range of strings on a Dano--maybe not the ultra-heavy flats, sure, but you are certainly not limited to only that one set. And for all the bridge and tuners may look like crap, or be crap, I have never heard of any of them failing to do their job, and they have been in steady use for 50 years. So I suspect you are judging without actual experience.
