I know this may be sacrilege, but I ordered a Godin 5th Avenue Kingpin hollowbody guitar. I have enough bass gear and think it would be fun to play the Jazz box. I tried to think of cabs and amps that I wanted/need, but couldn't find anything. Then i remembered how cool this guitar is and pulled the trigger. I made my order yesterday 6/17 at 3:23 CST.

I wasn't able to use all the coupons, but 5 of them worked. I ended up with a little more than 50% off, which seems like a pretty darn good deal. I have yet to receive shipping confirmation, but my order is approved. I am optimistic and think everyone will get their orders.

Nice choice doppler...I'm kicking myself for ordering a couple of things Wed. night before I found out about all of the other codes so a couple of my orders are only about 50% off too. (look at me complaining that I'm getting gear for half price). I thought about trying to cancel those but didn't want to rock the boat so I'll just have to live with 50% off for those.

Well, even after an early evening call from GC last night confirming my debit card and telling me I was all set to ship today, I just received my cancellation email. I only ordered one item, but it was ambitious: EBMM 25th Anniversary 4HSS Quilt Top for $725. HAHAHA! Well, it was worth a shot! Now to make sure they credit the funds back to my debit card pronto!

A Longhorn. A piece of junk. Count the reasons. I didn't realize what a grossly flawed instrument this was -- and it's atrocious -- until after I ordered the thing, and I didn't get it for $20 or so, but around $170, which, while less than half normal price, is more than it's worth and more than I can unload it for unless I'm very lucky.

Oh come on, stop badmouthing the Longhorn. Yes it has an atrocious bridge and potentially inadequate tuners, but they sound great and play quite nicely, with the added bonus that they weigh next to nothing. Pros all over LA and Nashville use Longhorns in serious recording sessions.

The charge is "pending" on your card. You have not paid any interest or fees. As far as the store story, HA! He can call security and have you held until the time you are out of the parking lot. And if they can prove you knew that it was a bogus sale, you can be charged with fraud!
