Dr. Bass cabinets

Is your's loaded with the Delta 12 or the Neo? I'm waiting on this very cab (delta version). Thanks for the review. Looking forward to getting mine!

i elected to go with the delta.ive heard very mixed reviews about neos in general.(not marc's-neo speakers)

anyway i think emprov is right.putting another cab with this one would make this a small but mighty rig.i had him make mine 4ohm as i wanted a stand alone small set up.it wouldnt hurt my feelings to have a bunch of em to mix and match.id love to hear it with emprovs ext cab.i mainly like lugging one cab at a time though.we are talking about building a bigger cab like a 212 or a 212 with an 8 or a 10.thats what i like about marc.you can bounce ideas off of him.i think he loves that.plus i think its great that people now realize we now have options and can get nice pro gear and dont have to not have to drain you wallet.

Mine have Deltas as well.

actually we get to to the west coast from time to time.ill have to do that if we make it to san fran.i love it there.i believe i was talking to marc as he was making yours.your feedback to him helped me with my decision to give marc a shot.glad i did.

Cool, glad that I was able to help. Even more glad that you like the cab. The 2060 sounds pretty good on it's own, words can't describe how they sound together though -- it's sounds *that* good.

i wanted to try these things, but didnt know how to go about it. I have been reading all these posts from you and didnt realize you were in SF.

I just bought a 1260, site unheard. guess i will have to come give it a listen when paired.

ok, so i got my Dr.Bass 1260 airhead cab in, and it is awesome. I tried it with my Trace Elliot 1110 combo head split out of the combo, and it cranked, although i did have to eq it a bit for that amp. loud, and expressive. a little light on the bottem end at high volumes, but clear and well defined mids and highs. the darn thing shakes the floor. my drummer loves it.

i tried to run the 410 as an extension cab with the amp, and nothing happened...no volume in either. but they both worked separately. later, i happened to be talking to mark, and he explained to me the possible problem, and how to work around it. a trip to radio shack, and $5 later, and BAM BAM. 1260 and a 410 cab being pushed by a 150 watt trace elliot head. i love effiecient cabs; it was definitely loud enough to push a big club (with the 1260 placed behind the opposite side of the drummer - rhythm section didnt miss a beat all night). i l

I didnt like the fact that i couldnt control volume/eq of both cabs separtely, so i have bought an ampeg b2 from basstodave.
