Dream bass?

C6E07C69-81C5-4A87-9259-87EBF94C37A3.jpeg I have two!

Although I would love a 66-ish P I feel like it would hang on a hook and that’s not doing it justice.
I have serious bass lust for Ferner Fine Instruments out of Memphis. I’m to the point of wanting to travel there so I can feel one. I stare at his basses and guitars all the time online. Made by hand. One at a time. Beautiful.

I've always wanted a Ric. After everything I've seen over the years about their QC, I doubt I'll ever get one, unless I can get someone else to build it for me! Other than that, I want all the basses in lots of different colors. With a few exceptions.

Already have a few, but if I had to pick something I don't have...

For all those "Matching headstocks don't look good with maple fretboards" people out there.
Does this change you mind?

Nice looking bass, but... no. No, it doesn't. I like my Pearl White Carvin LB-20 with matching headstock, but... it's the ebony fretboard between the headstock and the body that makes it look special...

My dream bass plays good, sounds good and looks good. I've got several, I'm good!

^^THIS^^ pretty much. There are a few basses I would like to have, but most of them 1) were never made as a lefty; 2) are available as a lefty, but are stupid expensive; or 3) the few leftys ever made are rarer than an honest politician - and really stupid expensive. So, I'll just have to be happy with the ones that I have...

I love matching headstocks! I have the sherwood green Adam Clayton Jazz and it's sweet as hell. Also, I love them sparkles and that white/grey gradient finish on that last one.

I have all my dream basses now, for the most part. Oddly, I've been drooling over a Yamaha... This one...

I probably will need a Peter Hook bass, and also a Simon Gallup bass.

I had a 434 and loved it. A production problem made me send it back, and now I have a 735a that makes me so happy. You should definitely get one!

Mine would be a 60's Rick 4001 or 4003 even if I never played one and maybe I would not even like the way it feels...
Mainly because my favorite bass tones are from specific progressive rock bands like Yes, Exit Stage Left Rush era, Gabriel Era Genesis, Anglagaard (ok its '90s but still)

You evil man. After completely ramming my credit card with a new Rev and forever cab in the last week or so, I'm gonna have to wait on this one. I love the look of this matte black one and seems like it would be a great gigger.

What was the production issue?
