I had an SL410X for quite a few years, was always amazing sounding no matter what was thrown at it, was the single cab on stage a few times for a range of heavy rock bands and sounded great, very loud. It was very light too for a 410, I had it paired with either an Aguilar TH700 or AG700. Sometimes also paired it with a matching SL210 at 2.67 ohms which was also a great mini-stack.
Eventually I traded them in for a Barefaced Super Twin, excellent sound, convenient size and shape (fairly tall yet shallow to fit on tight stages), even lighter still than the SL410, super convenient to tilt and cart around, even greater power handling, definitely my dream cab

For my wilder dreams:
Acoustic 406 or Sunn 215S, lower power handling but I wonder if the speaker area can get a higher sensitivity;
Ampeg Heritage B-15 or SVT-410HE for portability, a bit more power handling;
Acoustic 301, high sensitivity, not hi-fi but the tone has its uses.

When I went barefaced, I thought about getting one of their twin models, but in the end, decided to get two 112 cabinets, a Super Mini T and a Super Compact. That turned out to be the right choice, since I use a single cabinet 90% of the time. These are insanely loud and two of them are needed to tear down walls and for a better looking stack, but a single one suffices for almost anything.
I often play loud music. My usual setup before barefaced used to be a 4x10 or 4x12 cabinet.
A "normal" 2x12 was sufficient for maybe half of my playing, but not loud enough on its own for the other half.

As for a new amp, there are many great options, but I can't recommand enough the Quilter Bass Block (v803 or even used 800, 801)
It sounds so good, loud, it's clear and articulate - but never sterile or cold (compared to other class D amps).
It's impossible to make it sound bad.
Straightforward, with just enough (intuitive) controls to shape your tone easily (although I almost always keep all knobs at noon, but just in case…)
And it's the lightest 800W amp AFAIK.
Very reliable, and affordable. What's not to love?

I’ve played through many a 4X10 in all my years. My band(s) are still old school so we use our amps for stage monitoring, wedges for vocals and always have PA support. The only thing better than my Genzler BA410 would probably be the series 2. I’ve either owned or used multiple times as backline: Eden, SWR, Ampeg, Trace Elliot, Hartke, Peavey, Aguilar, GK, Mesa, Markbass and I’m sure there are others I’m forgetting. Many have been good but I wouldn’t trade the Genzler for any of them at this point. As always this is just my .0000002 and YMMV.
I'd design and build it because I have the knowledge, skill and tools. There's pretty much nothing commercial that I like and I've heard, though the Genzlers look interesting. One of their 2x10s with an 18 underneath would probably be good.
At my age, a pair of Phil Jones Compact 4 Cabs...800 watts, 29 lbs each. Low frequency cutoff 30 Hz, and they sound amazing
Fortunately I guess I'm living the dream. lol... I have Mesa Subway TT-800 and two Barefaced Big Baby 3 cabs. Can't believe how expensive gear is now - the cab order would cost almost $1000 more than when I bought them new. (Two BB3's, covers and the top-hat option) The cabs and head are super light and versatile.
My Big Twin-T @49lbs, +/-, is one of my easiest big cabs to move with a 4 wheel folding cart. I just roll to back of my SUV, tilt it back to slide it in. Then slide out onto the cart platform, n roll into venue.
Leverage and all that rot ya know.
Will be trying it first time on 27th w new Mesa B800D; comes with onboard HPF. So there's that.
I'll have my WD 800 there to compare. Though I do now find the B800D quicker to dial in my tone.
I'll also have the BF Big Baby ll on hand in case the BT is just too much. Some here suggest I use both cabs that nite.

The Mesa Standard Powerhouse 1000 is one of my favorite Cab Sims that I use with my Two Notes Opus.

I came up with a self-imposed rule of running a "one trip" rig. I usually use a mono soft case for my bass (or basses, with the case that fits two of them). Bass(es) on my back, my mini pedal board (tuner, footswitch for the mesa and a dirty pedal of some sort) and cables in the mono TIck, the mesa TT-800 carried in the soft case using the shoulder strap, and a BB3 in each hand. No dolly needed, no help needed and I can do stairs/grass/gravel without an issue while carrying my entire rig. This is the way...
