On the majority of my gigs we all ride together in the BL's vehicle anyway. My car stays at his house.

It's funny how americans call a BMW an exotic, when in Europe it's pretty much the definition of banality. I'm not saying that it's wrong or that it isn't a very nice car, just a funny difference of point of view.
Still no pics/vids of the car in question?
Way back when I gigged in a 1967 Porsche.
You got me thinking. If someone thinks your rich, does that give them a reason to hate you? Pretty shallow on their part.
Coolest gig-mobile was owned by the drummer from my last band; fully restored '59 Chevy wagon.
Thats not very impressive. My pickup truck can do 0-60mph in under 19 seconds.![]()

+1 Far, far, far too many in HK, too. There are far too many BMW's in the UK.
No offense, but also banal. Far, far, far...Mercedes 380 SEC blue metallic it has seen a few gigs
While I agree the M5 is a sweet BMW, and that you've further sweetened yours, I still can't see M5 as an exotic. "Exotic: of a kind not used for ordinary purposes or not ordinarily encountered."I don't think anyone is calling BMWs exotic cars in a broad sense. It's reasonable in any country, IMO, to think of an M5 as an exotic.
CLASSY! Love this, still has the mini-tailfins and old enough to no longer be banal.Once I have it fixed up I'll be driving my '66 Mercedes Benz 230S to gigs.

To think that anyone really takes the time to sit and pass judgment on the vehicle you arrive at the gig in is really kinda funny. Probably more like "cool car" or in my case, "what ya drinkin?" Just sayin...
...A 0-60mph time hovering around the 40 sec. mark..

lol...
Why is your pickup so slow?
My 4x4 4 door pickup hits in 7.1 ( totally stock )
