I had this happen to me too. Cat peed on a cardboard box full of pedals packed away in a basement. Ate through the cardboard, ate through the metal enclosures, ate through the circuit boards. Nasty stuff

Piss on the cat.Piss on his drums.

The Dog is Man's best friend; The Cat is Cat's best friend.
This! you would have smelled it instantly! And you'd still be smelling it!cat piss has a distinct and VERY strong smell. apart from being sticky.
if you touched it and brought hand close to mouth (nose) while eating - you would clearly notice something smelled funky.
No recommendation for the smell, but I would suggest buying something like an old Samsonite suitcase from a local thrift store and keeping your board in there. Close it all up when you're done practicing and voila, your board is safe from the elements. Plus, it makes it easier to transport when you've got gigs or whatever.
Yeah, a week before his cat also pissed on the guitarist's guitar. all over the pickups and body. lovelyHmm...this (among many other reasons) is why I never leave gear anywhere. No exceptions.
First off, does the drummer know about this? One, he should be apologizing and helping you clean up your pedals and going so far as to replace anything that's permanently "marked". Hopefully you'll be okay just wiping down the pedals with cleaner and replacing the Velcro!
Two, improper elimination (peeing outside the litterbox) in cats can be an indicator of a serious medical condition. He needs to get that cat to a vet to rule out any illnesses before he starts working on behavior modification with the cat. It's possible that the cat gets stressed out by the loud noise (to him) of your band rehearsal, so that could be a whole 'nother issue to tackle.
one time my buddy's dog poopie right on my guitar case. that was bitch to clean off lolThat sucks, my high school had a bass that you could check out for a week or so at a time and a guy took it home and the case got pissed in by a cat. That stuff is stubborn

for the cat or my gear?Flame thrower is your answer. Multiple times.
actually some chance it might have been one of his dogs. It didn't really smell. Not sure how old the piss was thoughyou never hear stories of dogs pissing on pedal boards.
