I've been fortunate to play with a couple of guys like that in my time - T. Bruce Wittet and Steve "Binky" Lund.

A good friend of mine plays guitar for "The Steepwater Band". They are on tour with Blackberry Smoke right now. I hear they are great.

Phil Selway (Radiohead). As complex as his drumming can get, the basslines are equally simplistic to build that beautifully depressing atmosphere of a Radiohead song. The best drummer hands down.

Any drummer with even a decent pocket. Maybe join music school soon. Tired of drum machine.
