Drummers you would love to play with...

I feel like I've answered this same query on TB several times in recent memory, and in any case most of the drummers I would love to play with have already been mentioned:

- Narada Michael Walden
- Jon Christensen
- Steve Gadd
- Simon Phillips
- Bill Bruford
- Gavin Harrison
- Tony Williams
- Billy Cobham
- John "J.R." Robinson
- Wil Calhoun
- John Bonham
- Trilok Gurtu

Here's a variation on the game: What drummers who you've already played with would you love to play with again?

- Joel Taylor
- Alex Alexander
- RJ Rabin
- Gino Robair
- Jesse Mayer
- Skip Haden
- Paul Van Patten
- Jimmy Daniels
- Rod Maturi

I'm going to go with Brian Dunne from Daryl Hall's band (Live at Daryl's House band).
He looks like someone I could have some fun with musically. He plays so in the pocket, and his feel is really good. He also has that ability to read the piece, and go in new directions at a nod.

My brother! He's a fantastic drummer, but due to living in different places we haven't played together in many years. He moved to South Africa in 1998, which means we have zero opportunity to play together, but also means he's improved exponentially as a drummer due to playing a huge range of styles with fantastic artists.
