*Neck: DiMarzio DP122
*Bridge: custom made Alnico V pickup, with exposed pole pieces

2 Volume, 1 Tone, 1 three-way-selector-pickup

Can anyone ID this Bass body? It appears to be made of laminated layers of light and dark mahogany. There are routed cutouts for 2 pairs of P-bass type pickups. The neck and bridge pickups are in mirror image positions. The body by itself weighs 6 lbs. The finish is a wine red color with gold stripes.
Truss rod adjustment is at the body. It also has a solid brass
bridge (not shwn in photo), similar to a Fender P-Bass, but with different screww hole locations. All help is appreciated.

It is tough to tell, but the first thing that comes to my mind is Aria Pro II.

I remeber playing a BC Rich Warlock that was a P/P and the two pickups sounded like they had the same output. I fel like you could beter match the pickups if both pickups are the same pickup. But, that's my 2 cents plus I don't even know crapola about custom building basses. So good luck too ya'.

That would be a plywood body. Usually they painted them instead of leaving the edges exposed. It looks like something from the Matsumoku factory, probably a Vantage.

I have a P Bass Elite II body, in candy apple red, which is routed for double P Bass pickups..no hardware, just the body, that I would trade for a different body or neck..not my cup of tea..

i scored one off ishi a while back, some pickup config, but head stock doesn't have the PPJ model number. it just says "Shingo". anyone has any more info about this?
