Dubious failure by Fender Custom Shop!

It’s all great, but the Fender Custom Shop chose to use a decal from the late 70’s/early 80’s era, instead of the “period correct” late ‘60’s/mid 70’s decal. All this historic Fender mojo for well over $4,000!!....talk about a missed detail!
but it plays as wonderfully, and it feels as special as you expected for a $4k ax, right? ;)

In a post-pandemic world, devoid of real leadership, worsening economic disparity…. we cannot even count on the Fender Custom Shop to get a time machine piece “correct”!!??
