Saw Booker T a couple of times in the 80s & 90s. Drove the DJs at KJR & KOL in Seattle crazy requesting "Hip Hug Her" daily, sometimes multiple times! That GREAT lil' stutter bass part & Croppers lil' guitar "honk" were just phenomenal!!

When I read of Duck's passing on CNN, I hit the back button to get out of the story! Stunned...

He taught a generation of bass players that fewer well placed notes beats loads of sixteenth notes.

SRV, you can stand in with Belushi and Duck til Cropper catches up...hopefully a longer gig than Double Trouble!
