She wants gay band members that are not too flamboyant??? I suppose that MIGHT be possible....

Female Vocalist seeking musicians (Plantation)
I am very attractive and unfortunately I have not had much success working with straight males in the past.
This may be more irritating than dumb; here's an [Invalid or Expired Link Removed] on my local CL.

There's a stand, sitting empty, and yet you leave your bass sitting on the concrete floor, leaning against a wall???
Gotta hang the strap so it doesn't rub away the finish on my bass. I'll just precariously prop my bass up on this jumble of old cords on the floor. It'll be fine.

Project4SolidBassistThatCanReadMusic-Rock,Funk,Reggae,Electro,Hiphop (Rochester NY)
I am a lead / rhythm guitarist / lyricist / vocalist and I have a project lumped in a pile of charts over twenty one years that should have no problem breaking into serious financial net worth ( very significant $, I invite you to assess and confirm......you will not be disappointed) based on comparison to the work of Trey Anastasio from Phish who's net worth as of sometime over the past year and half was 15 million (saw it in an article at some point). It will also add new spin to the scene since my musical background and output is quite different. My material is a vast original catalog of approximately 50 songs copyrighted with the Library of Congress and I have already spent years touring New York State with original music. This is a large amount of avant-garde progressive material with heavy harmony & voice leading and rhythmic content. I studied with jazz legends Donald Byrd and Joshua Redman through Cornell University but my music has no swing in it (with the exception of one isolated track). I also studied with Bob Sneider, Jeff Campbell, Mike Kaupa, Clay Jenkins, and Darius Terefenko of the Eastman School of Music. Bob Sneider has been my primary guitar professor. The music is a very modern blend of rock, funk, reggae, pop, avant-garde progressive, fusion, electronica, and hip-hop (I do not bust flow as an MC though). My main influences are Thelonious Monk and Trey Anastasio. My secondary influences are Miles Davis and Jerry Garcia. My tertiary influences are Sco and Bird. My quaternary influences are Bud Powell and the Disco Biscuits. . . .and there's loads of funk, reggae, electronica, and hip-hop as lesser influences than the four levels listed. Anyways, I've been playing and composing for approximately twenty years and playing live shows and singing for 16 years. I was recruited by 'Dub Astronauts' companion Mikey C to be Kevin Kinsella's guitar player for his first solo outing (from 'John Brown's Body') but I chose to leave Ithaca then to be closer to my family in Rochester and front 'Stone Spoon Baboon' which had a primarily Irondequoit fanbase for two and a half years prior to me disbanding the project to devote all my time to graduate studies and charting and fine-tuning these compositions (both the music and the lyrics and vocals). It is these heavier compositions that I speak of that really ignited my desire to take my catalog of approximately 50 original songs on U.S. tours for about 6 or 7 months out of the year for approximately thirty-something years from here on out. (Note to listener, these tracks I am linking you to on the internet below are mear child's-play : the charts I am holding that I have copyrighted with the Library of Congress and thus can let you walk off with and analyze are why the projected financial status of this project has billowed into major territory - you really need to view these charts and not just listen to these tracks (I scanned them to .pdf files but I believe that I can also scan them to jpeg) Anyhow, that being said, there's Link Removed and Link Removed (better vocal cuts.....go figure, no Stone Spoon Baboon PA - yes, it would be functional for you to excuse the dirty Peavey PA system a bit and trust that I'm 2/3 of a solid tenor that can carry my tunes very well and have been doing so to receptive audiences for about 16 years knowing that I now have the means to pick up a crystal-clear JBL-based PA setup. This project will never devote any time to learning and playing any cover material beyond rearrangements. I do have rearrangements of Chameleon by Herbie Hancock, Panacea by Greyboy, and Low Rider by War. There is much complicated syncopation work and bizarre harmony and voice-leading in most of the charts (primarily in the original material). It really is a must that the bassist be able to read music (not necessarily read the charts in real time but be able to gradually put it together from the notated music and rhthym ). Anyways, I am looking to tour extensively and take people to the edge for as many years as possible as hard as possible, basically on the move with bookings three or four nights a week for about half the year. After taking on a bassist we'll decide what we want to do for a rehearsal space with the drummer. Looking for a player that has kinda not been listening to Mike Gordon for about a decade preferably Berklee educated but whatever if you're nasty you're nasty and we'll look at what percentage we're cutting you in at and get you looking at which ones you think you're going be able to drop the biggest bombs on. We will debut with a double-album cut with my personal recording studio with no studio fees to debut with from which we will cull tracks to put out a demo to get bookings which will happen prior to finishing the double-album so that we can get the project on the road ASAP. I can't stress it enough that I'm really looking for a non-Gordo-clone in their late 20's or mid-30's. May the force be with you. We will be hiring local mercenary MCs and scratch DJs for the duration of all tours because between a third and a fourth of the material is geared for that. I am willing to collaborate on a bunch of material, especially if it's either particularly hot or got diesel-harmony and voiceleading and / or rhythmic work or better yet, both, insert Kool-Aid guy jumping through the wall saying 'Oh Yeah'. Also I must throw in that I'm not trying to go overboard in the mentioned rearrangements department / really looking to keep this project about 90% original at least. Anyhow, I've already been through Water Street Music Hall, The Montage, Kilbourn Hall, Park Avenue Festival, the Avon Corn Festival, Nazareth College, multiple events at The University of Rochester, Finger Lakes Community College, multiple events at The Bug Jar, multiple events at Monty's Krown, Dickies / The Black Pearl, multiple events at Mickey Flynn's, Lux, and a private festival in Irondequoit in Rochester NY. I've been through The Lion's Den which is now closed and the Baggot Inn in New York City and The Amp in Elmira NY. There's also be multiple Sigma Alpha Mu parties at the University of Albany. The Iron Horse in Northampton MA. Suffield Academy in Suffield CT. There's also been Bailey Hall, Barnes Hall, multiple events at The Haunt, multiple events at Castaways, multiple events at The Nines, Ithaca College Stu-stock, Cornell University's arts quad sorority festival, 12-14 Theta Delta Chi parties, Sigma Alpha Epsilon's green party, multiple 660 Stuart Ave co-op parties, multiple Von Cramm parties, a Watermargin party, an Alpha Delt party, Cornell University's west campus festival twice, multiple events at 'Just About Music', and multiple college-town house parties and some Cornell University fraternity parties I do not currently know the names of in Ithaca NY. Please contact me.

Sometimes I think I live in the worst part of the worst part of the worst part of the music world.
If they're nude, then how can you tell that they are Columbus?
You got through a whole sentence? Congratulations!TL;DR.
After one sentence, I gave up. He has been working on this project over 20 years, and it's *got* to be worth big bucks because he thinks it could be compared to somebody else who has made big bucks in the music scene.
Right.
Fixed it for you.Anything that states more than, or less than:
- location
- musicians needed
- style of music
- desired level of recording/gigging
is a waste.
