Dumb Salesman at GC

I worked in a music store, a few lifetimes ago, for a few years - still have the '61 Strat I snagged after it was traded in on a Tele but sadly traded off the perfect Gibby ES-355 back before I moved south.
Human trolls aka a******s are nothing new, I would've definitely come back with a generator crack.
But hey, if messing with someone who's just trying to get through their low paying day gig makes you feel somehow superior, go for it. Girls love jerks.

Aw I was just poking a joke. I treat Walmart employees with respect and do not make them jump out of my way, I move and allow them room when moving heavy things, and other common courtesies. Sometimes I just get froggy.

I think it's time to reveal the alternator in the Twin Reverb. I thought up a circuit that fades one speaker as it intensifies the other speaker then alternates the opposite way. It would make an effect like the Leslie Tone Cabinet that really would only show much effect on stage, with just a little effect on a recording.
I love to hear that thing grinding away.
I don't think the alternator would do as well as a Leslie but would have similar sort effect. I could make a ring of speakers to switch and produce a more similar effect. Again though probably not a match for the Leslie.

Soooo,
You asked a salesman about a device you dreamed up, then started a thread to make fun of him when he didn't know what it was.

Worked at auto parts store years ago. At least once every two weeks or so some one would come in and ask
for a radiator cap for a '63 Volkswagen. Being eager to learn and excel at my job the first time someone asked for the price thumbed through the catalogs looking for the correct part number.
Laughter ensued and I got the joke. Never fell for those request after that.
(This was the era before computers and Volkswagens didn't have radiators, they were air cooled, hence no radiator caps)
Guitar Center workers are simply trying to make a buck, you rarely find knowledgeable techs wasting their time at a minimum wage job.

Maybe I was sort of one more worse than listening to people try to play Stairway to Heaven all day.
I did watch him to see if he would look back and forth between the two speakers, but he apparently played dumb , well done.

He played dumb about the imaginary invention. But without reading your mind, he knew you are a piece of work
