Just realized the ones I have are the nickel coated steel ones. Not bad strings at all. Remind me a lot of D'Addarios.
+ 1 They reminded me of D'Addario XL Nickelwounds

I personally don't hear a D'Addario similarity, but then again, strings are incredibly subjective.
That being said, my only complaint after having had these strings for a while is that lack of a tapered B string. My Warwick is suffering. Stupid DR Taperwounds. I need any other string on there![]()
I'd probably LOVE these then!!They had the mids and highs, but the low end was missing.

After further review...
Well, I still really like the Dunlop NPS strings so don't get me wrong, HOWEVER, I found out one not so good thing about them, and I am very sorry to say this but when played in a loud hard rock band the D'Addario Prosteels sound better!
The Prosteels just cut better and have more audible punch.
So, if you are NOT playing in a real loud hard rock band the Dunlops are a great choice. The biggest endorsers playing Dunlop NPS strings are Nathan East and Jimmy Haslip and both of them are not real hard rock guys, so I guess that's a good example.

Carey Nordstrand is now reccomending them and using them FWIW.
I did a few google searches......no results yet. What is the best source (best price) for Dunlop Flats?

I could be wrong, but I don't think Dunlop makes flatwound strings.

Troy Sanders of Mastodon and Dave Edwardson of Neurosis are endorsing them. They both playing in very thick, heavy bands.
LoRiders in my experience are not a "high tension" string. .
