They emailed me yesterday and asked for my address to send a replacement set. Now that's what I'm talking about! I was really supprised that I didn't get a response initially, but they've come through!

I have tried out the Dunlop Trujillo Stainless Steel strings one month and a half ago and the E and A strings are already dead. I managed to bring the D and G back to life, but the others did not last. Maybe it was me not maintaining them well. I have a question. What do you guys think about the Dunlop Trujillo strings? Are they good? I am personally quite disappointed, but i might be the one who caused them to go dead so soon.
That's how long i've had them till now. They had died almost after 1-2 weeks after i put them..............A month and a half? That's not bad, especially considering the price. That's about a month longer than most other roundwounds last.
I am late to the party but I had to chime in. I was actually pretty excited about a month ago when I bought a set of stainless steel Dunlop bass strings. I have always heard good things about Dunlops. Every musician has his or her own preferences and I prefer to keep an open mind. What works for 1 may not work for another. That being said, I put these strings on my Sandberg TM5 Relic and I was disappointed from the very beginning. I did a recording session a few hours later and they were just not giving me what I needed. No 'ZING' and 'Dazzle', no POP and absolutely no presence. Almost dead from the get go. Could have just been that pack of Dunlops but WOW. I couldn't believe it. I normally use Ernie Balls Stainless steel 5 String sets .50-.130 ; the EB's have wonderful presence & sound so focused to the point where I need to back off the high end and my 4x10 bass cab has no tweeters. I will say that maybe the Dunlop nickel bass strings may be a possibility in the future. I love the nickel plated bass strings when they 'set in' really good and have been stretched. Maybe 2-3 weeks out, 2 gigs a week. To me thats when they sound great. I won't be buying Stainless Steel Dunlops any time soon.
I was really into the Super Bright .40 - .100's, but my last order had dead E and A strings in 3 out of the 4 sets I bought.
I bought them from Fret Nation FYI.
