Active Mids - 20dB cut or boost and Blend
It is not the same mid control on the VT125Bs, it does not color the sound at noon.
Also just a big improvement in build simplicity.
Preorders? Maybe.
Imma preorder the **** out of that.

The circuit can get louder before it distorts. More clean, less distortion than the same settings at a lower voltage.I have to cop to my ignorance and admit that I have been faking that I know what it means when people say the 18v on DA's pedals allow for more "headroom."
I thought it meant more total volume, but I think I am wrong about that. Can someone educate me on exactly what "headroom" means in terms of 18v? (In layman's terms please.)
So if I want more grit out of my ODB and Bass Overdriver without increasing volume, because I'm not using tubes and don't have a "front end" to "hit", I should run them at 9v?The circuit can get louder before it distorts. More clean, less distortion than the same settings at a lower voltage.

Or from 18 to 36. Same with the VT. I think others have this feature as well.idk about the bass od, but the odb has an internal pump charge so it's running at 18v from a 9v source
Hey Nick @dunwichamps , can you answer this for the group re: Bass Driver.
Is the tone knob just a standard passive treble cut? I'm a little puzzled by both the tone and treble knobs together.

Most of DA designs have the pump. When I say "9v" or "18v" I am referring to the initial power from the PSU.idk about the bass od, but the odb has an internal pump charge so it's running at 18v from a 9v source
