There have been a lot of Dunwich gear on Reverb lately. There is a small enclosure DA120 on there now, as well as a pretty fancy looking Fuzz Throne with some extra controls.
I’m curious about the deets on that series one

A more authentic to the sound GT120 amp in box. The newest one is a custom version where the high gain switch takes it out of that realm into a high gain version of it.
It is a testament to the quality of your product. Although none of that money goes into your pocket, so I'm sure that is a little annoying.Ive noticed an uptick of re-selling with prices at or above MSRP. Certainly some gear flippers trying to make some $$$ off the limited supply.
Compared to the DA120? The DA120 is based on a pushed GT120 and the Series One is a non-pushed GT120?

The internet is a two edged sword. It makes selling pedals for a builder like you possible, but also means the secondary market eats away at your new sales exponentially. The more of them that you sell, the more potential used sales there would be.
I've purchased nearly every model you make that will work for bass, so I've done my part.
Yea roughly correct. Series One has some response matching (like frequency curve stuff and tube emulation using JFETs)
I respectfully disagree with this statement. A higher visibility on the used market is a good thing for a “small” builder like Dunwich. The internet is a two edged sword. It isn't a condemnation, just an observation.I respectfully disagree with this statement. A higher visibility on the used market is a good thing for a “small” builder like Dunwich.
If there are 150 used listings online of Dunwich devices, that represents thousands of shoppers getting their first introduction to the brand. These are people who don’t do TGP or TB, and may have gone to their graves decades from now, never knowing the joy.
What happens when you take a chance on a used cool looking pedal from someone you just discovered, only to be blown away by it? You become an advocate. You prattle on to all your friends, family, cohorts, anyone who will listen. More to the point you make a habit of following this company, and inevitably, you make future purchases from your new favorite builder.
Additionally, what could make it easier for Dunwich to sell new pedals at the asking price, than having the only alternative to spend more on the used market?
I would think it’s all good, but as always, I may be wrong.
When I see something I like, I go all in, especially when it is an "underdog" of some kind.I dont stress hard on it. It is what it is.
I do appreciate the support!
