Dunwich Amplification General Discussion

Anyone knows if Magic is planning on completing all preordered pedals before shipping out or if he ships as they're built? I know he posted that some were closer to completion than others. I'm impatient to try the Witchfinder!

Also I just saw that there are still Modded HM-2's available. Anyone on the fence should definitely grab one!!
The last drop that I got in on was shipped when the pedals were completed.

If you ordered just the Witchfinder, then it will ship when all of the Witchfinders are done. If you ordered all three of them (like me), then they will ship when all three are completed.

Just a Witchfinder for me! I passed on the Wizard and MHM-2 since I already have those. Hopefully he doesn't have any problems sourcing parts and can build all the pedals pretty quickly!

So loud it’s still audible with the amp’s volume fully CCW.

The V1 gets wilder and the boosts are great at shaping tone albeit with a lot of tweaking. V2 is so blissfully straightforward and simple. I love the entire range of breakup and there’s tons of low end available even without the boost options. The drive is very touch-sensitive, too. They’re different enough for me to keep both. V2 is worth checking out if you get the chance.

Agreed. The V1 has more range but that can lead you into more time tweaking. I found sweet/sour spots with v1 but v2 seems to have kept the fundamental sound of v1 and made it more user friendly across the control continuum. I couldn’t say that I notice the 3 band split vs. the 2 band split for clipping.

I’ll probably keep my v1 for “collecting” reasons, but the but the v2 is going to be what’s on my board.

Sold. Seth got 'a few more' ready at the end of the month it seems.

What’s that custom Dunwich like? Does it sound as pretty as it looks?

It’s a trippy swirly Uni-Vibe vibrato (left section) with a tremolo (middle section) that’s all affected by a filter (right section).

L is level
M is modulation
R is rate
D is depth
F is filter

The Uni-Vibe toggle increases/decreases the rate’s range of speed similar to the toggle on the Phase Shifter.

The Tremolo toggle switches between 2 wave types of tremolo.

The filter sweeps from low end cut to no cut to treble cut.
