Not 100% on that but there are a few different iterations of the Tarkin, the one I have has two channels with two separate clean & level controls

I have been eyeing the IB Dungeon Master for months @Novarocker. It sounds so good whenever I listen to reviews and am curious how it is in a band setting! I'm also interested in the Heavy Weapon...anyone have one?

Yes, and yeah I do. The DM does a great job, can be either very dark sounding or very cutting with that mid/high mid EQ point used for the highs. What's so good about the heavy weapon is that they're in parallel and IMO makes it that much better.

Both circuits have enough lows to shake the room so no concerns on needing a blend.

If I figure out a decent way to record a demo, I'll do so and throw it up. Though this may be the wrong thread for that...maybe the stoner/doom thread.

That's right. It's my favourite clean blend on any fuzz and it would be great if the feature could be used on fuzzes more widely to escape the two-separate-tones effect of some clean blends.

Have you had other Dunwich HM-2 variants? What makes this your favorite? I'm a HUGE fan of the HM-2, and quite like the Dunwich DIY version, but have always been intrigued by the "Modded HM-2". Never had one, though. My current favorite HM-2 for bass is actually the Bear Amps Heavier Metal, but no one seems to ever talk about that one. It's a local builder (i.e. in my state, which isn't exactly small...) and it's absolutely amazing. Nothing crazy, but just works in the mix and cuts like crazy, even when it doesn't seem like it should.

I've had two Modded HM-2's (Dunwich Big Boy and Magic's 1590bb), Tyrant and now two Nihilists. The Nihilist has an awesome resonant filter that sounds absolutely massive. It's wildly addicting!
