Does It Doom posted a gorgeous limited color Baghdad that will be released soon. It's on IG, but not on their site yet.
Dibs on that Bass Overdriver one of y'all scored on Reverb today.
This is nice:

I can't believe how nice this one is on bass. It's probably a bit more versatile then the Conan, yeah?
It's definitely got a warmer tone on bass than the others. I dimed the internal boost and mids. Really like what I'm hearing. The attack isn't as defined as the standard Fuzz Throne and the distortion isn't as harsh as the Standard's and Conan's. At least mine isn't. Reminds me more of the tamer, sweeter Cthulhu I got when Magic started to use the sparkly white enclosures as opposed to the edgier Dunwich / earlier Magic Cthulhus I've tried.
Yep, that's very similar to what I was hearing. "Warmth" is a perfect way to describe this guy with the depth and fuzz dimed. With that setting, I absolutely loved "attenuating" it with the the tone knob, and while I'm not really into this, cleaning it up with the volume knob was shockingly satisfying. I kept the boost trim pot dimed, and also didn't mess with the mids pot, guess that'll be next.
I tried it with both my Jazz and Ric thinking one would clearly gel better with it, but it just adapted so well with both pickups..the options seem endless when you add in tone shaping with the bass itself.
This is definitely up there with the latest 3-knob Cthulhu.
The tone knob is interesting! On the Standard, 12 o'clock is balanced between lows and highs, while on the ST, mine appears to be balanced around 2 o'clock (with fuzz and depth dimed). Oddly, mine has the most low end at that setting. If I turn it CCW, it shaves off the edge and tames the low end at the same time until about 1-noon, then only rolls off highs as it continues CCW.
The Only things I think would take this circuit to the next level would be to put both the boost and mids trim pot back on top and make that depth knob a FAC circuit like the wizard, turning it into a..
Super-fuzz throne?
One could only dream.
It sounds like you're describing the Fuzz Throne Deluxe. Unless I'm mistaken, @Fuzzonaut and @kranahan have one
There was one on reverb a bit ago but it looks to be sold. You can grab a new v2 there, though.Hi guys! Does anyone have a NightOwl Parabellum V1 they'd be willing to part with? Thanks and all the best!
Thanks! Let me know if another v1 pops up. I'm a fan of the look! Appreciate it!There was one on reverb a bit ago but it looks to be sold. You can grab a new v2 there, though.
