Now you're talkin! I have one of those Orange 4-space Gator racks that houses my GBE750. Bet it would look sweet on top of that cab!

Very possible, though I do love my GB XB2410. Michael, I'm one of the biggest Vol fans you'll ever want to meet (as if my profile pic doesn't say that loud enough!). Any other season ticket holders in our little group?

I'm going to race my rc cars this Saturday at the Karns track. Won't be gigging 'til I find another singer or band needing a bassist.

I'm talking to M.D.'s for two shows this fall, but am not official on either yet. So after the "summer of theatre", I'm a man without a gig, also. I think most of us here are in that same boat.

I'd really like to get into a band this fall, but as slow as things are in "Knoxious" (don't know if that will catch on) right now, a musician has to have a lot of contacts going to get into anything worthwhile. I know theatre musicians, but not a lot of band musicians. There's not a lot of overlap there as a rule.

I've given up completely on Bandmix.com. That might have been good four years ago, but not anymore.

I'll be at the game Saturday. First gig with the new band "Lost Creek Shakers" is next Friday 9/3 in Rogersville on the courthouse lawn. Pity we couldn't have found something on Labor Day, then again, none of the holidays are what they used to be.

The imperfections on the side from sanding will not be as noticeable after a couple more coats of duratex and the hardware all in place.

Not sure if I'm really equipped for that. This is my first real build. I think it would be fun. There are already a few authorized builders on the fearful website. If they couldn't do the custom color, you could always order one unfinished and duratex it your self. The duratex is super easy. I thought it was easier than painting. If you want any info about the cab I would be happy to tell you all I know.

It's been a fun process and I have learned a LOT!

As said, I'm currently looking for a possible teacher who is in or around the UT area. I don't mind driving, but with gas prices being what they are I'd like to find someone relatively close to UT campus. I'm mainly looking to find someone who can:

1. Locate where I need improvement in my playing
2. Help me out with theory - mostly in relation to chords and improvising lines over more complex progressions
3. Help me find music to work on and study (currently interested in RnB, Funk, Jazz, and some hip-hop)
4. And overall just help me get to the next level in my playing abilities.
