eBay Scammer strikes again

ok, so how about this one:

http://cgi.ebay.com/1965-Fender-Jazz-Bass-NEAR-MINT_W0QQitemZ270350067389QQcmdZViewItemQQptZGuitar?hash=item270350067389&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1205|66%3A2|65%3A12|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A1|293%3A1|294%3A50

i can see that the tuners are not original. what else is there? it certainly doesn't look 40+ yrs old.

The tuners are correct for the age. I'm not a huge expert, but as far as I can see the only thing "wrong" with that bass is that it looks too new to be true. All the parts look legit.

Paddle tuners on unbound/blocked neck is pretty rare but not out of the question. Pots date to 66 which suggests transition era paddle tuners, might have been an older neck they had at fender. Pearl dots are correct for late 64 to 65

eBay used to have a small department I used to work with, that has experts that pull listings if it can't be authenticated and they don't have papers of COA's to prove it. I will try to contact them. I suggest others do the same. That's just disgusting.
