A large stash of my gear is about to go up on eBay this weekend. More details tomorrow...there's some relatively iconic NIN and Beck-related touring stuff, random bits, effects, instruments, amps, etc. etc. Stay tuned!

So I don't get the point of telling everyone here one TB what you're planning on selling on EBay.
Maybe to give everyone a heads up on deals for your equipment? But then we're competing with the rest of the world for your auctions.
I see that you're a supporting member, so why not sell here? No eBay fees, what's there to lose?

Because I have over 160 items for sale and they are not just bass-oriented. Therefore Talkbass would be too narrow a channel for selling such a variety. Plus I'm working on three records right now and too busy to do private sale myself, so I've hired a friend and his reputable eBay service to do the work on my behalf. Just ended up making more sense for me. I'm mentioning it here as a courtesy, because people here have asked me in the past to do so when I was about to offer things for sale.

This is interesting, is it ok to ask why you sell so much gear? And THE question:Shipping worldwide or just United States?

I think worldwide, depends on what my eBay seller's personal policy is, but yes I believe so.

I'm selling stuff because I simply have too much. And I'm tired of having multiple storage facilities for gear that doesn't get used. Some of the things I'm selling I REALLY love, but I have a hardcore six-month rule: If it hasn't been in my rotation for six months, it gets the axe.

Best,
JMJ

I suspect that you are going to make a killing on this. What are you going buy with the proceeds? ;)

1. A burrito from Loteria Grill in Hollywood

2. A set of rebuilt struts for my blue '81 Lancia Beta Zagato

3. The 4 Men with Beards 180g vinyl reissue of VU "White Light, White Heat".

4. Three Dodger tickets, field level...and three Dodger Dogs to go with it.

5. A vintage U87

6. Another two bags of Mexican river pebbles for my cactus garden.

I'm sure I'll think of more. :)

Auction details in a few hours!

Numbers 1, 4, 5, and 6 are on my list too. :)

Good luck with the sales!

Oh man, I'm in love with that Lakland Decade! Never seen one with Dark Stars combined with a pre.

Justin, do you happen to know if that's a Lakland/Hanson pre or a Bart? Lakland came out with its preamp in '06.
