EBMM Short Scale Stingray Club

Don't see a club for EBMM short scale Stingray's. I guess I'll start one.

Next to my SR classic on the left. I love the EBMM SS, it plays so easily and the build is perfect. My only gripe, which has been discussed before, is how close the g string is to the edge of the fretboard.

My EBMM short scale is my main bass. I also have an SBMM that I had defretted.

well the short scale version is only now 2 years old. and thanks to pandemic, it was hard to get for the first year. I've played on 2 SBMM versions, and 1 I would have bought if it wasn't for the big crack going straight through the entire body. I ended up with a Gretsch shorty. This bass is still high on my gas list....

I have the SBMM and absolutely love it, but man that EBMM Starry Night that revroy has up there is cause for serious drool. That's probably my favorite bass on this website. I think there a couple/few on here that have them, but they are my favs. The clear pick guard was a great choice. Show that thing off.

Here is my SS Stingray in Daphne Blue. I love it! I have two Ibanez Mikro SS, but this Stingray amazing -- it fits just right. Not loving the strings, though, and will finally try something else and am open to suggestions.

Will Musicman will be producing more of these gems? I got my hands on a Sterling short scale last september and fell in absolute love... I have a 2008 MM stingray that I absolutely adore but at 54, my hands are starting to show fatigue and pain after close to 40 years of bass playing, so the short scale is a blessing.
