I love that red color... just would swap out the pickguard. It didn't make sense to me that it was the last color to sell out from the last build.Got one of these bad boys a few months ago to join my SBMM short scale. Candy man with rosewood board. Love it!

No, this was one of the limited stock on that color. Which I believe is 25 worldwide.Beautiful! Special order?
I tried two different pickguards, one black and the other tort. I kept the tort on it cause I like the aesthetic.I love that red color... just would swap out the pickguard. It didn't make sense to me that it was the last color to sell out from the last build.
No matter what else I play, my EBMM is always my favorite.
Yeah… I like both of them better than the gold. Maybe a clear one too…I tried two different pickguards, one black and the other tort. I kept the tort on it cause I like the aesthetic.

Regardless, congrats on an amazing bass!
Looks better than on their website. The pick guard kind of looked yellow on there. It is a beauty!!Got one of these bad boys a few months ago to join my SBMM short scale. Candy man with rosewood board. Love it!

Thanks! It would have been even better if it was anodized aluminum. I may have left it on. But it's 4 ply gold, black and white celluloid. It looks okay but the tort and black are more my thing with candy red.Looks better than on their website. The pick guard kind of looked yellow on there. It is a beauty!!
They are such comfortable basses to play and the neck is the best I’ve ever played. And of course, they sound amazing. Thanks! It's all I play these days.
Yes, I like both of them better in your photos. Surprisingly, I like the tort more than the black and I didn't think that would be a great combination until I saw it.Thanks! Maybe I'll try that! Thanks for the suggestion.Yes, I like both of them better in your photos. Surprisingly, I like the tort more than the black and I didn't think that would be a great combination until I saw it.
What would take the cake for me is if you did the white pearloid on it. I bought the silver shadow one and then asked Ernie Ball if I could buy a pearloid one for it. They actually sent me one free. I think it looks really good on mine (as does my black that was stock). I think it would look killer classic on yours.
I officially name her "Canela" (Cinnamon).I tried two different pickguards, one black and the other tort. I kept the tort on it cause I like the aesthetic.

Common wisdom for rounds is either Stringjoy or GHS Balanced tension. Flats differ so much from brand to brand it really is a matter of taste.Any good ideas for strings, round wound and flat?
