Came across this today seems like a good deal, especially if you can work tax/shipping into the price.

Sometimes I believe GC Used doesn't always know what they have. Last December, I bought a 2018 Stingray Special 4H from them for $1059.00 including free shipping! It arrived in pristine condition, but no case or any original goodies. Unfortunately, it was a bit of a boat anchor for a Special at about 9 1/2 pounds and I wound up turning it back in for a full refund. Still, that price was ridiculously low and I've never seen another at anything close to that price. Eventually I wound up with a much lighter weight 4HH that I bought right here off the Talkbass Classifieds.

Exactly! That's why I think they might not have realized it was a 2018 Special when they priced it. I didn't believe it myself until it actually arrived at my house. Unfortunately, the weight turned me off and I began lusting after a 4HH.

Wow that is a great deal. I thought I got mine at a steal for $1175 plus shipping. But mine is 8.5 lbs and plays great and was the color I wanted too so I'm incredibly happy.

Yours is a better deal because it’s light weight and I’m guessing it came with a case and case candy? I wound up paying a bit more for the one I bought right here, and still it was a very good deal.
