That’s a very nice Stingray but it’s not a Stingray Special.
Maybe post that beautiful — but not StingRay Special — bass here: Music Man StingRay Club | PART FIVE.That’s a very nice Stingray but it’s not a Stingray Special.
I REALLY wish they did that finish and neck option for the Specials though.
I guess that’s my point. I don’t find it touchy at all. Ymmv
To each their own, my friend. That's why there are sooooo many.
Yeah, I may have to try flats on mine…
Yinz guys are tempting me.![]()
New BFRs
Also a 9volt pre, the Birdseye is nice thoughLooks like the 5 string has all the old SR hardware/preamp/pickups but still retains the sculpted neck joint, interesting move

I like the quilted maple top and roasted neck. Also the black hardware is very nice. But old pickups and preamp is where they lost me. It would be nice if they are going to do block inlays they should also do at least one, if not two inline hum buckers or true single coils. Once again , my $ is safe.

More pics because its sexy...
I have to agree why 9v with old pickups?! Its a "special" model after all.
From GC spec page, it says 18v with neo magnet pickups probably a mistake.
