Looks like the 5 string has all the old SR hardware/preamp/pickups but still retains the sculpted neck joint, interesting move
At first glance, I was like :hyper:, but then i saw the specs and now I'm like:rollno:.
I like the quilted maple top and roasted neck. Also the black hardware is very nice. But old pickups and preamp is where they lost me. It would be nice if they are going to do block inlays they should also do at least one, if not two inline hum buckers or true single coils. What? No ebony fingerboards either? :banghead: Once again , my $ is safe.

The inline humbucker or single coil idea would be really interesting to see for sure
