Is it Blue Dawn? I once had a USA EBMM Sterling in Blue Dawn and regret trading it away. Beautiful finish.I think that's the same finish as mine; can't remember the name offhand, but this is it (apologies if I've posted it before). I remember really wanting the Burnt Apple one at the time but the blue really grew on me. Still can't make up my mind about the black or white pick-guard though, I keep swapping them over.
Well I could not wait until next spring. And I’m usually not a fan of burst either but I found this used in mint condition and drove 70 miles to check it out. The amazing part is that I ordered this exact same bass from Sweetwater last winter and cancelled right before it shipped. I just didn’t want to spend that much $. I remember the weight and the number being it was a limited run of 105. This is that exact same bass and I got it for $1K less in mint condition . This bass was meant to be mine. I just returned from vacation in Europe and saw this bass 3 weeks ago. I was so busy with life and said I’ll see what happens when I get back. Lo and behold it was still there . Needless to say I was shocked. Same store but local one has another Fretless StingRay5 from 90’s listed at higher price than this one and surely doesn’t weigh 8 lbs like this one.If you're trying to get me to give up my devotion to bursts and at least consider a sparkle, you may have put the first cracks in the armor ...
Oh, yeah, that's the one! I thought Pacific Blue didn't sound quite right. Blue Dawn it is.

I never would have expected you to get a burst, so I give you credit for being openminded enough to try one. Actually, I'm doubly impressed because your BFR doesn't have the big Stingray 5 pickguard, so your see the full burst. I know that sounds kind of wiseass-y and sarcastic, but it's not. I honestly meant that.
Hard to tell what kind of wood the neck and fingerboard are from my phone. There weren't many all rosewoods produced as far as I know, so my first thought was roasted maple (flamed). But, since this is a BFR, I thought it might be a solid rosewood. But, because it's flamed, I'm leaning toward roasted maple.
